WOW!

(A big thanks to Mary and Clark for taking the phenomenal performance photos!)

Our campers put on two EXTRAORDINARY shows, and we're all so proud of them! They worked hard all week, and it really showed in the fantastic performances.

We all learned how great it is to be born brand new, that we should avoid being secret disciples, and that we need to see others the way God does (not what the Pharisees saw). Acts 1, 2 and 3 taught us to seek Jesus, believe and live for him. And who is that teacher's teacher, the king of kings? That would be my Jesus!

All of the children blessed us, and we hope their experiences in Music Camp blessed them, too! We can't wait until Music Camp 2008!

What a show!

We won't be posting any production photos until after Sunday night's show, but here are a couple of our cast right before our premiere, patiently waiting for their cue to take the stage:

And here's our Nicodemus with his proud Mom:

Sunday night is your last chance to see this smash hit! You'll laugh! You'll cry! Don't miss it!

A hard day's night

Long after the campers went home, our camp staff was hard at work dressing the set, making sure costumes are ready to go, and taking care of other details for this weekend's performances.

We can't wait for everyone to see how hard our campers have worked!

Say cheese!

Make that NACHO cheese!

Our campers have had another busy morning filled with rehearsals, snacks and games. Showtime is less than 30 hours away!

Let there be light!

Our daring volunteers are really on the spot!

Important info about our performances

Thursday update

In addition to rehearsing, campers worked on a personalized take-home craft today.

After our lunch of sub sandwiches, the campers worked really hard as we did our first full run-through on the stage. Then they participated in our field day, complete with bounce house, relay races and popsicles.

The countdown continues...

Only two days of rehearsals remain before our big premiere on Saturday night!

Super servants

It takes a bunch of volunteers to keep Music Camp running smoothly. We're blessed to have help from many "Super Servants" throughout the week.

Our volunteers keep camp activities organized:

They help prepare our crafts:

They make costumes:

They keep the masses fed with two snacks a day plus lunch:

They organize our afternoon activities:

They serve as group leaders:

They transport our campers to our afternoon activities:

And of course, they work with our campers to make this year's musical the best yet!

A big THANK YOU goes to everyone who helps with Music Camp!
