We're back!

After a two-year absence, the children's musical workshop has returned! Now called KidSONG, our troupe of young musicians will present two performances of "Fish Tales" this weekend.

Here are the highlights from our first day of rehearsals and fun:

This afternoon's activity: the Incredible Bubble Lady!

We're off to a great start!

Hard at work

Amid all the games and crafts and food, we have a musical to put together! Tami Tune worked with our campers in the Café first. They sounded great!

Tami encouraged all the campers to listen to their CDs tonight to review today's songs and get ready for the rest of the songs in the musical.

Later the campers tried out the stage for the first time, running through the first three songs in the show.

Again, we're so excited that this week has finally arrived. Check back throughout the week for more of this behind-the-scenes look at Music Camp 2008!

Jamba time

Before our last rehearsal this afternoon, Jamba played some outdoor games with the campers.

More Monday highlights

We had some hungry campers after our busy morning!

Everyone enjoyed their sandwiches, chips and pudding!

For today's craft, each team decorated a ticket box. Tickets are awarded for extra-good behavior, and at the end of the day, teams can redeem those tickets for prizes!

Monday fun

Our first big outing this week was to a local arcade that features "All-U-Can-Play" video games. Our campers had a blast playing the new and classic video games, shooting pool, playing air hockey and getting to know each other.
